Works exactly as expected

Unlike many other dev boards for the ESP32, you don't have to hold down a button to flash. Haven't tried the battery charger, but everything else I have tried works.

Great board

Purchased for a DIY marauder project and it's doing what it's supposed to. No issues so far. Cheaper than a pi counterpart and lots of support out there.

Good Development Board

This is a good development board. Maxed out flash and RAM. You must use the ESP-IDF development platform to use it. The Arduino world is not really ready for this board yet. The VSCode is a great platform, but it takes a couple of days to figure out how to use the ESP-IDF with it. The ESP-IDF integration with VSCode is a little wonky. Once you learn how to use it though development is fine. Also pay attention to the TTL voltage. ESP32-S3 is not 5V. 5V regulator pin only produces 4.2V. The 3.3V regulator pins are exactly 3.3V. If you need 3.3V and 5V connections TTL level is easily overcome with a bidirectional voltage level shifter, and those are cheap.

nice board, i like it

if you are flashing micropython make sure you flash it to the right spot on memory. "invalid header: 0xffffffff" odds are you are flashing to 0x1000 instead of 0

Great (Cheap) ESP32-S3 Development Board!

Everything works exactly the same on this board as the Espressif official development board, at half the price! The pinouts of these two boards are also the same, however this board (Teyeten Robot) has a 0.1" wider pins stance than the official board, or one hole wider on a breadboard.

The only issues that I ran into was the need to download the CH341SER drivers to allow Arduino IDE / PlatformIO / ESP IDF to communicate to the board via Serial USB. Other than that, everything was a breeze to set up and use. The onboard JTAG USB debugging is a life saver and is much easier than having to use a dedicated ESP-PROG debugging tool.

Overall, great product that I would highly recommend! All 6 boards that I have used and tested were perfect. Looking forward to getting more development boards in the future from this company... you just can't beat their pricing.
