The Lonely Binary SD Card ESP32 Shield connects to the ESP32 using the SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) Bus. This connection utilizes four GPIO pins on the ESP32: MISO, MOSI, SCK, and CS, in addition to the required power and ground connections. You can use the same SPI bus to connect multiple devices; however, each device must have its own CS pin, while MISO, MOSI, and SCK pins can be shared with the Lonely Binary SD Card ESP32 Shield.
It is essential to format the SD card with the FAT32 file system. For optimal performance, we recommend using a genuine SanDisk SD card.
This shield is particularly useful for projects that require extensive data storage.
