Description
Description
- 10 BUTTONS, 5 COLORS TWO EACH OF RED, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE AND WHITE: enough to build a full control panel in one order, with matching spares. Each button mounts through a 12mm panel hole with the supplied knurled nut and sits behind an 18mm bezel, so it fits an enclosure, arcade cabinet, dashboard or project box without any adhesive or bracket.
- LATCHING, NOT MOMENTARY PRESS ONCE FOR ON, PRESS AGAIN FOR OFF: the switch mechanically holds its position, so the circuit stays closed after you take your finger off. Ideal for power switches, mode selectors and anything that should keep its state without being held down.
- LED IS WIRED SEPARATELY CONTROL THE LIGHT INDEPENDENTLY OF THE SWITCH: four terminals in total, two for the switch contacts and two for the LED marked + and -. Because the LED has its own pair, you can drive it from a microcontroller to show real status rather than just mirroring the button position.
- ADD YOUR OWN SERIES RESISTOR THE LED HAS NO BUILT-IN RESISTOR: forward voltage is around 2.2V, so fit a 220 to 1000 ohm resistor in series when running from a 3V or higher supply, exactly as you would with any discrete LED. Connecting the LED directly to 5V without a resistor will damage it.
- SPST FOR LOW-VOLTAGE PROJECTS SIMPLE ON-OFF SWITCHING: single pole, single throw contacts suit hobby electronics, model builds, control panels, arcade projects and DIY enclosures. Supplied in a hinged compartment case that keeps the colors sorted on the bench.
