Description

An ESP32-S3 Gold Edition board on a pre-assembled screw terminal base with an FPC display connector, for permanent setups and field wiring.

Highlights

  • Screw terminals. GPIOs break out to screw terminals that hold under vibration, with 2.54 mm female sockets alongside for jumper wires.
  • FPC expansion. A top-mounted FPC connector adds compatible modules and displays (display sold separately).
  • Headers fitted. Headers arrive pre-soldered: seat the board on the base and start wiring.
  • Two USB-C ports. Native USB and UART, for power and programming.
  • Gold Edition finish. Black PCB with lead-free ENIG (immersion gold) plating for good corrosion resistance.

Great kit for beginners and experts alike. The PinPulse shield makes it easy to debug issues and gives beginners an opportunity to see how the connections work. As with all Lonely Binary components, the Gold Edition is exceptionally well-built.

The wrong part was sent, 4MB version sent, I ordered 16MB. I emailed the company last Wednesday July 1 and have heard nothing.
