Description

Build your own UNO R3-compatible board from parts. Every part you solder is through-hole, which makes it a good first soldering project for students and hobbyists.

Highlights

  • Through-hole assembly. All the parts you fit are through-hole; the surface-mount USB-to-serial chip comes already soldered.
  • Bootloader preloaded. The ATmega328P arrives with its bootloader, so you can upload code over USB as soon as it is built.
  • Full UNO I/O. 14 digital pins (6 PWM) and 6 analog inputs, with UART, SPI and I2C.
  • Flexible power. Run from USB or a 7–12 V DC supply, with a resettable polyfuse protecting the USB port.
  • Shield compatible. The finished board takes standard UNO shields.

In the box

  • PCB with USB-to-serial chip fitted
  • ATmega328P with bootloader
  • All through-hole components for assembly
