Description
Two jumbo 4-inch single-digit seven-segment displays with a 74HC595 driver board on the back, so a microcontroller can run 12 V segments from 3.3 V or 5 V logic.
Highlights
- Readable at a distance. 4-inch digits for scoreboards, timers and wall clocks.
- Driver built in. The back board switches the 12 V segments, with no transistor arrays to build.
- Chainable. Daisy-chain modules for multi-digit displays on the same data, clock and latch lines.
- Sample code. Examples on Lonely Binary's GitHub.
