The PIR sensor operates in the following manner: when no movement is detected, the signal on pin #4 is set to a low state. Conversely, when movement is detected, the signal on pin #4 is set to a high state for a duration of 2 seconds. To adjust the duration, you can connect pin #2 to a resistor, as specified in the datasheet located in the document sections.
